Privacy policy

Effective August 31, 2026

This policy explains what personal information Nice Turf collects, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.

Who we are and what this policy covers

Nice Turf ("Nice Turf", "we", "us", or "our") installs artificial turf and related landscaping, including putting greens, pavers, natural stone, and decorative rock, for residential properties in the Phoenix, Arizona metropolitan area.

This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect when you visit getniceturf.com, submit one of our forms, or use our online yard measurement and instant quote tool, and how we use, share, and protect that information. It applies to our website and the services we provide through it.

By using our website or submitting information to us, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

Information we collect

Information you give us

We collect the information you provide directly, which depends on how you contact us:

  • Lead and estimate requests: your name, email address, phone number, street address, city, and ZIP code, along with any project details you choose to share.
  • Yard measurement and instant quote tool: the property address you enter, the location shown on the map, the outlines and measurements you draw, the surface types and products you select, and the answers you give to questions about the project.
  • General correspondence: anything you include when you email us or reply to our messages.

Information collected automatically

When you visit our website, we and the services we use may automatically collect limited technical information, including your IP address, browser and device type, operating system, the pages you view, the page that referred you, and the dates and times of your visits. Within the quote tool, we also record basic usage events, such as which steps were completed, so we can understand where the tool is confusing and improve it.

Information from third parties

Mapping and address lookup features are provided by Google. When you search for an address or view the map, Google receives the information necessary to return results and imagery. Please see the Google Privacy Policy for details on how Google handles that information.

How we use your information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Respond to your questions, requests, and messages.
  • Prepare, deliver, and follow up on quotes and estimates.
  • Schedule, coordinate, and perform the services you request.
  • Contact you about a project you started, including a quote you began online but did not finish.
  • Operate, maintain, secure, and improve our website and quote tool.
  • Detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, and technical problems.
  • Send marketing, promotional, or booking communications by email or text message, where you have consented or where otherwise permitted by law.
  • Comply with our legal obligations and enforce our agreements.

Cookies and tracking technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies, including browser local storage and session storage, to make the website and quote tool work. These are used for practical purposes such as remembering that you have already seen the tool tutorial and keeping your progress if you reload the page partway through.

We may also use analytics and advertising technologies to understand how the site is used and to measure and target advertising. These may include Google Analytics and the Meta (Facebook) Pixel. These services are not installed on the site at the time of this policy's effective date. If and when we enable them, they may set cookies or similar identifiers in your browser and may collect information about your visit, including pages viewed and actions taken.

Most browsers let you refuse or delete cookies and clear local storage through their settings. Blocking these technologies may cause parts of the website or quote tool to stop working correctly. Our website does not currently respond to Do Not Track browser signals.

How we share your information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only in the circumstances described below.

Service providers

We use third party companies to operate our business. These providers may access personal information only to perform services on our behalf. They include:

  • Google Maps Platform and related Google APIs, which power the map, address search, and measurement features of the quote tool.
  • GoHighLevel, which we use as our customer relationship management system to manage leads and to send email and text message communications.
  • Our website hosting and infrastructure providers, which store and serve the site and process form submissions.
  • Analytics and advertising providers, if and when we enable them, as described in the section on cookies and tracking technologies.

Other disclosures

  • Professional advisors, such as accountants, insurers, and attorneys, where reasonably necessary.
  • Legal and safety purposes, when we believe disclosure is required by law, subpoena, or other legal process, or is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of Nice Turf, our customers, or the public.
  • Business transfers, if Nice Turf is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, in which case personal information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

We may also share information at your direction or with your consent, and we may share aggregated or de-identified information that cannot reasonably be used to identify you.

Text messaging (SMS) consent and opt out

If you provide your mobile number, we may contact you by SMS with transactional messages about your quote, your project, appointment scheduling, and appointment alerts, and, where you have separately consented, with promotional messages: exclusive offers, promotions, and reminders. Message frequency may vary. Message and data rates may apply.

Consent to receive marketing text messages is not a condition of purchasing any product or service.

You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message from us. You may receive a final message confirming that you have been unsubscribed. Reply HELP for assistance, or contact us at the email address below. Opting out of text messages does not remove you from email communications, and we may still need to contact you about an active project by other means.

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

We do not share your number or your consent

Your mobile number and your text messaging consent are not shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing purposes. We do not sell them, we do not rent them, and we do not pass them to anyone to market to you on their own behalf.

The only parties who receive them are the messaging providers that deliver texts for us, and they may use them only to send the messages we ask them to send. Nothing in the section above about service providers, business transfers, or legal disclosures is an exception to this for marketing purposes.

Data retention

We keep personal information for as long as it is needed for the purposes described in this policy. In general, that means we keep inquiry and quote information for as long as needed to respond to you and to follow up on the project, and we keep customer records for as long as needed to service the work and to meet our legal, tax, accounting, and recordkeeping requirements.

When information is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to delete it or to remove the details that identify you.

How we protect your information

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information against loss, misuse, and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. Our website is served over an encrypted connection, and access to personal information is limited to people who need it to do their work.

No method of transmission over the internet and no method of electronic storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security, and you share information with us at your own risk.

Your privacy choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding your personal information. Regardless of where you live, you can always ask us to do the following:

  • Access a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
  • Correct personal information that is inaccurate or incomplete.
  • Delete personal information we hold about you, subject to information we are required or permitted to keep.
  • Opt out of marketing email by using the unsubscribe link in any marketing message.
  • Opt out of marketing text messages by replying STOP.

To make a request, email us at info@getniceturf.com with a description of your request. We may need to verify your identity before acting, which usually means confirming information we already have on file, such as the email address or phone number associated with your inquiry. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights.

California privacy rights

This section applies to California residents under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (together, the CCPA).

Categories of personal information we collect

In the twelve months before the effective date of this policy, we may have collected the following categories of personal information:

  • Identifiers, such as your name, postal address, email address, phone number, and IP address.
  • Customer records information, such as the contact and property details you submit with a quote request.
  • Commercial information, such as the services you inquired about, quotes requested, and services purchased.
  • Internet or other electronic network activity information, such as pages viewed, referring pages, and interactions with our quote tool.
  • Geolocation data, such as the property address and map location you enter into the quote tool, and the approximate location inferred from your IP address.
  • Inferences drawn from the above, such as the likely scope of a project.

We collect these categories from you directly, automatically through your use of our website, and from the service providers described above. We use them for the purposes described in the section on how we use your information, and we disclose them to service providers for business purposes as described in the section on how we share your information.

Your California rights

  • The right to know the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected, the sources, the business purposes, and the categories of third parties to whom we disclose it.
  • The right to delete personal information we collected from you, subject to exceptions.
  • The right to correct inaccurate personal information.
  • The right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information.

Sale and sharing

We do not sell personal information, and we have not sold personal information in the twelve months before the effective date of this policy. If we enable advertising technologies such as the Meta Pixel in the future, the resulting transfer of information to an advertising provider may be considered sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising under the CCPA. If that occurs, we will update this policy and provide a method to opt out.

How to exercise your California rights

Email us at info@getniceturf.com with the details of your request. We will verify your identity using information we already hold, such as the email address or phone number associated with your inquiry. You may use an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf, in which case we may ask the agent for proof of authorization and may ask you to verify your identity directly.

Children's privacy

Our website and services are intended for adults and are directed to homeowners, not to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect or sell the personal information of anyone under 16.

If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at info@getniceturf.com and we will take steps to delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, the services we use, or the law. When we do, we will revise the effective date at the top of this page. If we make material changes, we will take reasonable steps to notify you. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
